Vrujesh is mechanical engineer with 16 years of working experience in the Automotive Body-in-White engineering design. He serves for last 8 years in Tata Motors Engineering Research Centre. He joined as Sr. Manager in Tata Motors in 2011 & then since Sep. 2015 serves in Tata Technologies role as Project Manager – Cabin Design. Currently, he is responsible for BIW Design of all Small CV design delivery managed Tata Technologies team. He was responsible for design & development of cabin underbody of INTRA the Next Gen CV meeting structural durability & crashworthiness for new regulatory compliance. He led design team to developed lightweight BIW with all-aluminium for one of the small commercial vehicle product which performs as replacement to steel BIW. He recently presented research paper LGF Composite Plastic design at International Conference on Composite Materials & Structures (ICCMS) – 2017 organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)- Hyderabad.
Prior to joining Tata Motors, he served for 7 years in Mahindra Engineering Mumbai & then Pune Design Centre as Project Leader. He displayed proficiency in Mahindra-Navistar JV Global Truck NC2 Cabin BIW components & exterior trim component design including aero dynamic devices. He was also responsible for program deliverable of A-Class surface from India team for Mahindra-Navistar Cabin along with collaboration of Navistar Studio based in America.
